Proof of concept design for Flex Phygital Footwear
Flex.shoes are breaking new ground with 3D printing and blockchain, blending digital NFTs with tangible products. The design challenge I faced was creating a lineup of one-of-a-kind digital sneakers.
As the lead designer I outlined the following design approach.
The initial base design is composed of interchangeable modules.
Each module features a distinct parametric treatment.
A rigid shell encases the modules, providing them with a distinctive appearance.

The collection's iterations are accomplished by swapping geometries and colors.
This proof of concept demonstrated its viability as a design approach, paving the path towards production phases.
